Merry Christmas - What Would Jesus Buy?

Enjoy this movie.    Something to consider.   

• Are you addicted to the consumerism?   
• Do you feel like you need to BUY something for Christmas?
• Do you feel like others expect you to spend money you don't have just for Christmas?
• If you're a manager - does your employer pressure you to buy gifts for your employees? 
• Do you buy things just because it's the "next big thing" and discard what you have even before it's usefulness is gone?
• Are you more interested in "flash" and blowing your stash?
• Have you ever had something you actually needed but could not afford because you spent the money on something you did not need?

Please, just stop shopping.   You are buying your own destruction and creating your own poverty.

The old testament prophet Nahum pointed out another aspect of what is happening which is that the merchants do not care about you.   They only pretend to care as long as you have money to spend.  Nahum 3:16,

"You have increased the number of your merchants

till they are more than the stars of the sky,

but like locusts they strip the land and then fly away." ~ Nahum 3:16

If it's not from the heart, it don't belong in the cart!
